Nintendo America announced last week that the DSi XL comes to America on March 28, 2010. Released in Japan last November 2009, the Nintendo DSi XL (or DSi LL) sports a 4.2-inch screen and a 5-inch touch pen. With a bigger screen and munch bigger stylus, the newest game handheld will cost US$189.99.

 In Japan, the DSi XL is available in Dark Brown, Wine Red, and Natural White. However the colors have yet to be announced for North America’s version.

Commented on the DSi XL’s bigger screen, Satoru Iwata (Nintendo President) says that the DSi XL is the first portable video game system aimed to be played with others in person. The people surrounding a player can also enjoy the gameplay.
