Nintendo recently launched a new model of Nintendo DS Consoles family: Nintendo DSi LL. The DSi LL, launched on November 21, 2009, in Tokyo, currently only available in Japan version. The “LL” stands for “Large” and “really Large”. In Europe, it will be known as DSi XL when it appears on store shelves in the first quarter of 2010. The DSi LL has the same specs of its predecessor, Nintendo DSi. Except, the DSi LL is larger than the DSi. The DSi LL’s screen measures 4.2 inches (much larger than 3.25 inches of DSi screen) – it is 93 percent wider than DSi’s. But still, their resolution remain the same, 256×196. The DSi LL come with two styluses, each has different size. Nintendo said the DSi LL is meant for people who wants to use it more for Internet and media playing than their games.
Nintendo DSi LL sold 103,524 units in two days after the launch. It was less than 170,000 units for DSi in the same period; while PSPgo sold around 28,000 units also for two days.
The DSi LL ship with three DSiWare titles pre-installed: two brain training games and DS Easy Dictionary. At launch time, DSi LL was released in dark brown, wine red, and natural white. The list price of the DSi LL is 20,000 yen (about $220). But,
